Troubled Teens Wilderness Program

Troubled teen wilderness programs are often used as the initial intervention in a plan to assist a family with an adolescent involved in negative, self-destructive and defiant behaviors. Wilderness treatment programs typically run about four to eight weeks long and begin the process for the student in gaining insight into their negative behavior patterns.

Wilderness youth program counselors and therapists guide troubled teens toward self-respect and self-reliance. Common issues are poor school performance, defiance of authority, depression, low self-esteem, and drug or alcohol abuse.

"Susan, We are so proud of the progress our daughter has made at the wilderness program. She really is starting to discover who she really is, and to think about the priorities in her life. Thank you again!"
